At Sireeya’s Taste of Thailand, we do something different. We let you build your own Thai starter set from scratch — choosing exactly which starters you want, in exactly the right quantities for the number of people at your table. No pre-set combinations. No paying for things nobody wants. Just a shared Thai starter spread that is genuinely, completely yours.

What Is a Mix & Match Thai Starter Set?

The Mix & Match Thai Starter Set lets you select four or more individual Thai starters and group them into a single shared order. Every starter comes portioned for the number of people at your table.

We offer three versions:

Mix & Match Thai Starter Set for Two — choose 4 or more starters, each portioned as x2. Perfect for a couple or two friends sharing a full Thai spread before mains.

Mix & Match Thai Starter Set for Three — choose 4 or more starters, each portioned as x3. Ideal for three people who want genuine variety without anyone going short.

Mix & Match Thai Starters — Family & Group Set — choose 4 or more starters, each portioned as x5. Built for families, groups and gatherings where the starter spread needs to feel generous and completely inclusive.

Sweet Chilli and Plum dipping sauces come with every order. Choose Chicken Satay and Sireeya’s signature homemade Satay Sauce is added automatically — because it was made for those skewers and should never arrive without them.

The Full Starter Menu You Can Choose From

Every starter in the Mix & Match selection is handmade by Sireeya herself. Here is the full list of options available across all three sets:

Chicken Satay — four tender chicken skewers marinated and grilled, served with Sireeya’s signature peanut satay sauce.

Green Curry Chicken Satay — the same format as classic Chicken Satay but marinated in Sireeya’s green curry paste for a fragrant, gently spiced alternative.

Moo Ping — Thai street food grilled pork skewers, marinated in a sweet and savoury blend that caramelises beautifully on the grill.

Goong Hom Pha — deep-fried wrapped prawns, crispy and golden on the outside with a sweet prawn filling inside.

Khanom Pang Na Gai — minced chicken on toast, coated and fried to a golden crisp. A Thai street food classic that disappears fast at any shared table.

Thai Fish Cakes — Tod Mun Pla, made from fish paste, red curry paste and fresh kaffir lime leaves, shallow fried until golden and aromatic.

Thai Shrimp Cakes — a sister dish to the Fish Cakes, made with fresh shrimp for a lighter, sweeter flavour profile.

Tempura Prawns — five whole prawns coated in a homemade breadcrumb tempura and fried until perfectly crisp.

Tung Tong — six golden wonton pastry sacks filled with a savoury minced filling. One of the most-ordered starters on the entire menu.

Spring Rolls (V) — crispy, light and completely vegetarian. A crowd-pleasing classic that works for every table.

Tempura Vegetables (V) — a medley of fresh vegetables coated in a light tempura batter and fried until golden.

Tod Man Je (V) — the vegetarian version of Thai Fish Cakes, made with potatoes, green beans, sweetcorn and the same aromatic spicing as the original.

Tung Tong Je (V) — the vegetarian version of Tung Tong, with a plant-based filling inside the same crispy golden pastry sacks.

Whether your table wants seafood-heavy, meat-focused, vegetarian-friendly or a full mix of all three — the selection covers every preference without compromise.

How the Portioning Works

One of the things that makes this ordering model genuinely practical — rather than just conceptually appealing — is the way portioning is handled automatically.

When you order the Starter Set for Two, every starter you select arrives as a portion of two. Tung Tong x2. Spring Rolls x2. Thai Fish Cakes x2. Two people, two of everything.

When you order the Set for Three, every starter arrives as x3. The Set for the Family arrives as x5. The maths is done for you. You simply choose what you want and we handle the rest.

This also means the price is completely transparent. Each starter lists its per-set price at the point of selection, so you can see exactly what you are building.

How to Order Your Mix & Match Thai Starter Set

Ordering is straightforward. Choose the set below that matches your group size, select four or more starters from the menu on the product page, add any special requirements in the notes field, and add to cart. Your starters will arrive fresh and hot, portioned correctly for your table, with three dipping sauces included.

We deliver across Burton-on-Trent and surrounding areas — including Branston, Stretton, Stapenhill, Winshill, Tutbury, Rolleston, Swadlincote, Barton Under Needwood and more — Thursday to Monday, 4:30pm to 9:00pm. Earlier weekend deliveries may be possible please get in touch to arrange.
